New and emerging technologies like augmented reality, virtual reality, and create opportunities for innovation but also necessitate new human skills, including digital competencies and e-commerce literacy. Policies supporting this transition focus on infrastructure like fabrication laboratories for experimentation and ensuring inclusive access to digital trade for micro-, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
